Project or program launch, I can make it happen

A year from now you may wish you had started today

I'm passionate about helping organizations build and enhance programs to make a real impact in the world. Received that amazing dream grant to expand but not sure where to start? I'm happy to help! I've launched festivals, new multinational and local partnerships, and new lines of business. I know how to satisfy the most challenging funder and put the project management tools in place for the next person to sustain the program seamlessly.

Reasons to hire a consultant for your project launch:

1.

Catalyzing change. Everyone loves change...except when they need to change what they do. A consultant coming from outside an organization has the ability to identify gaps and opportunities for new projects without the biases in the past. A good consultant can assess the viability of a project through quantitative and qualitative metrics and then plot the best way forward with an excellent business case that creates buy-in from all stakeholders, leaving the project or program in good hands when they leave.

2.

Bring expertise into the organization. Often organizations hire consultants to get things done quicker since they bring specialized knowledge and expertise that doesn't exist with current staff. But the best consultant is collaborative and shares (even overshares) their knowledge. Because, in the end, you need the knowledge and that expertise to stay in the organization.

3.

Supplemental interim staff. Even healthy organizations tend to operate lean, so a new project or initiative can elicit groans from staff at upsetting their precariously balanced workloads. Bringing in someone with experience in collaboration and project launch can do much of the "dirty work" of setting up the systems and nagging collaborators, while working with current staff to make sure the project fits in with their current programs.
